Welcome to Maharaja Manindra Chandra College

The College has completed sixty-eight years of its glorious existence and has served the cause of higher education in the Kolkata and its suburbs. The teachers impart not only text oriented knowledge to student, but also equip them with sound moral values, bold attitude towards life, keen sense of responsibility and social awareness. The college has also a unique record of placement at the end of the award of the degree of the University of Calcutta.

Our college has completed sixty-eight years of its glorious existence in 2009 and has served the cause of higher education in the city of Kolkata and its suburbs. It is our firm
belief that a college does not merely provide text book knowledge to student, but also equips them with essential inputs such as values, attitudes towards life,sense of responsibility and awareness about the people and the society they live in. Students grow and mature into young intellectuals and activists while they pass through college days. We take pride in the fact that this college offers the proper and right kind of environment to our students to fulfill these aims and the members of the faculty of different subject in this college help them to achieve this. I welcome all students who have decided to take admission in our beloved institution.

As the merit list for all subjects in SC, ST and PH categories have been exhausted , the admission for these categories (SC,ST and PH) in all subjects have been opened. Candidates with requisite marks can be admitted on first come first served basis till seats are available for them.
